| STARS INFO Time Standards will be listed in the heat sheets at the top of each event each week. These are the times each swimmer strives to reach. Stars are awarded to swimmers when they swim a qualifying time during a dual meet. They'll receive the star during practice the following week. A BLUE star is awarded to swimmers that achieve a TEAM TARGET TIME for each stroke in their age group. Stars are limited to one per stroke per season. Team target times represent a realistic goal for all swimmers to strive for in their strokes and are based on the team's average times from previous years. A RED star is given to swimmers that attain an ALLSTAR Qualifying Time, limited to one per stroke per person, and qualifies them for the All-Star meet in their qualifying strokes. A GOLD star is given to swimmers who attain a PONDEROSA Qualifying Time, limited to one per stroke per season, and qualifies them for the Ponderosa meet in their qualifying strokes. These iron on stars are normally worn on the back of each swimmers team t-shirt, but you can iron them wherever - back of chair, towel, etc. |
