Away Meet - May 16, 2009
Results
Stars are given to swimmers when they swim
a qualifying time.
A BLUE star is awarded to swimmers that
meet each TEAM TARGET TIME in their age
group Stars are limited to one per stroke per
season. Team target times represent a
realistic goal for all swimmers to strive for and
are based on the team's average times from
previous years.
A RED star is given to swimmers that attain an
All-Star qualifying time, limited to one per
stroke per person, and qualifies them for the
All-Star meet in their qualifying strokes.
A GOLD star is given to swimmers who attain a
Ponderosa qualifying time, limited to one per
stroke per season, and qualifies them for the
Ponderosa meet in their qualifying strokes.
These iron on stars are normally worn on the
back of each swimmers team t-shirt, but you
can iron them wherever - back of chair, towel,
etc.
Stars and improvement ribbons will be handed
out during practices the following week.
